About the Insiders

TheNASCARInsiders.com was founded in April of 2008 to give NASCAR fans a unique perspective on the sport they love so much. Many of the blogs that can be found about NASCAR are written by fans that have an outside view of the sport. And while these are great, we decided to do something a little bit different. We created a blog written by some individuals that are immersed in the sport on a daily basis.

The Insiders
T.C. – As a crewmember for a major NASCAR team, I will share my own experiences as a tire changer and offer my own (somewhat) educated opinion on all things racing. I have stepped off the wall in three major racing series and have many friends and family in the sport. But besides being a crewmember, I’ve also been the fan waiting in the rain at Darlington in the turn 4 grandstand for the truck race to start, and I’ve been a part of the traveling circus that is the sponsor midway.  Email T.C.

Journo – I have spent my entire life around NASCAR and motorsports in general; be it at the fence looking in or from pit road looking out. I have personally worked (and currently work) in various media and communications positions throughout the sport. In addition I have family and friends who work in the sport.  I hope to provide you with insight on living in the very tight-nit NASCAR community and give you news and opinion based on my experiences. Consider this a sort of Terms of Use/Privacy Policy section.  It wasn’t written by a lawyer, but we just thought we would lay some stuff down.

First, any content created by this blog is owned by us.  It may not be used anywhere by anyone unless we say its okay.  Basically that whole “without the express written consent” thing.

When you make a comment on the site, please be nice.  And when I say nice, I mean nothing vulgar, racial, sexual or anything else derogatory.  Oh yeah, don’t spam either.  But do feel free to disagree with us or tell us you think we are idiots if you are so inclined.  The whole beauty of blogging and commenting is for people to speak their minds.  Keep in mind too, this is our site, and we do reserve the right to delete and moderate comments as we see fit.

If you email us, especially if its a question, keep in mind that we may use it on the site possibly in a blog post.  If you want to ask a question, but don’t want to put your name, just make one up or put “Anonymous” for your name, its okay.
