Feuds bookended the news this week. Juan Pablo Montoya and Ryan Newman were the much talked about topic after a spat at Richmond led to two wrecked racecars and two angry drivers. Last week’s winner Kyle Busch got into the act this week after he was involved in a wreck with Kevin Harvick that set off an after race altercation at Darlington. In other news, Michael Waltrip Racing announced this week they had replaced their front and rear tire carriers and changers. The move came just a few days after the crew had issues at Richmond. This is the NASCAR week that was, May 1 to 7, 2011.

That little stunt of Kyle Busch in the pits with Harvick’s car is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE … Nascar had better do SOMETHING MAJOR about that incident!
It made me sad to see that on Victory Circle the commentators just laughed about all of it … they thought it was a BIG JOKE! That was a VERY DANGEROUS situation and NOT something to be laughed at guys … I’m disappointed in those guys for treating this incident so lightly … it is because it was KYLE BUSCH … to listen to these guys HE IS THE BEST … I hear it ALL THE TIME … YUCK!
Disappointed … hope Nascar sees this situation differently and does something about it!
