The NASCAR Week That Was: 14-20

Pothole-Gate and Jamie McMurray led the headlines this week after a wild Daytona 500. After two delays to repair a pothole between turns one and two and two G-W-C attempts, Jamie McMurray held off Dale Earnhardt Jr. to win his first Daytona 500. It was also the first 500 win for team owner Chip Ganassi. Following the race Daytona International Speedway began repairs on the problem spot. Track officials said experts have been brought in to evaluate the rest of the track. And finally Danica-watch week two saw the driver qualifying 36th and posting a 31st place finish. This is the NASCAR week that was February 14 to 20, 2010.
