Gerry: If anybody has figured out who we are, they haven't approached us about it. And yes, there have been some questions asked at times that cannot be answered. Can't give away too many details!

two questions; Has anyone figured out who you are and approached you on it? Are there some questions you could not answer because they are company secrets?

For #13, in the old days the locked in front row was required to start and complete at least one lap. They could park it or fall to the back to save their car.

With all the talk about Kasey Kahne going to Hendrick or Tony Stewart, if Petty can become a player this year, why on earth would Kasey want to leave a team where he's the star to go to a team where he'd be a second fiddle at best?

If RPM does well, Kasey can pretty much call his own shots on that team.

#7: I think the cars just stay in the same order among that group (those who have to fall to the back). They also stay in the same line, inside or outside. One time I remember hearing a driver (Kenny Wallace or Ken Schrader or someone like that I believe) point out that they didn't want to have to try weaving back and forth from one line into the other just because someone dropped to the back!

#10: I think nascar just relaxes about things like that when it comes to exhibition races. I'm reminded of the All-Star race several years ago when it started raining on the first lap and they had that big wreck and several drivers were allowed to get out their back-up cars. Plus, in a 24-car race at Daytona, it really doesn't matter where you start.

In response to #14 if they had them on both sides it might be too much. As in making the cars turn would be too difficult. So you are making thing safer in a rare circumstance (getting sideways / going backwards), in exchange for making things more dangerous for common events (turning in every corner).

In response to #7 I have noticed that time plays a factor. As in when they decide / notify NASCAR about a change.
