Between Danica, Kyle and Kevin, this week could be called the week of the announcement. On Monday, Danica Patrick along with JR Motorsports GM Kelley Earnhardt and GoDaddy.com CEO Bob Parsons announced Patrick’s foray into NASCAR beginning next season. The announcement did not include a schedule of Patrick’s races. On Friday Kyle Busch announcement his plans to field two entries in the Camping World Truck Series in 2010. Kyle Busch will share a ride with Brian Ickler while Tayler Malsam will run full time; Busch said the team is working on sponsorship for veteran Johnny Benson. And finally Kevin Harvick Inc. announced two new crew chiefs for the organization in 2010. Dave Fuge will take over for Rick Ren on the #33 truck and Doug George will take the reins on the #2. This is the NASCAR week that was December 6 to 12, 2009.
