CONFIRMED: Kyle Busch Motorsports and Rick Ren A Go

Earlier Friday Rick Ren confirmed to Sirius Speedway’s Dave Moody his move to Kyle Busch Motorsports and the team’s startup for the 2010 season.

The team is expected to hold a press conference next Friday officially announcing their plans for 2010. Ren will be the Director of Operations for the new team.

The NASCAR Insiders first brought you news that Kyle Busch was planning on starting a team back in July. We were also the first to bring you news in November that Rick Ren would be leaving Kevin Harvick Inc. at the end of the season for a managerial position with Kyle Busch Motorsports.

We’ll update if we hear anything new.

Good for them! It’d be nice to see more Cup drivers owning Truck and Nationwide teams, even if they’re satellite operations for their own Cup owners.

This is great news!! No matter what you think about Kyle’s competitive personality, the guy is no dummy, in just a couple years he’s learned fast and well about the importance of good people as necessary for success. Trust me, Kyle’s not in Pensacola this weekend just to drive around. I have full confidence that KBM is ready to make the jump to another level, and look forward to seeing their Trucks next year.

This is really great news about Kyle Busch’s new truck team. I’m really proud of him. For only being 24yrs old he already has a good start in life. He has matured a lot these last 2yrs. I hope he shows all of them on the cup side just what he can do. He already has. But all they get done doing is bashing him for doing some thing wrong. I’ll bet his parents are proud of him. I have a 19 year old grandson and I’m very proud of him. His name is Kyle to. He is in prep school getting ready for calage. But he plays a lot of sports to. Foot ball, Lacross, hockey. So I hope Kyle’s truck team gets of to a good start.
