Christopher, did you read that Johnson, in 60 chase races, has 55 top tens? That is one of the most astounding stats I have read in months!

I like the idea of the Chase, but I think it does need a bit more tweaking to make it more like a real playoff.

First of all, the 12 chasers should be scored separately each race: 1st through 12th place. Big bonus for actually winning the race, but beyond that… whereever they finish relative to each other.

Secondly the re-set of points should take into account top 5’s as well as wins. Wins 10 points, top 5’s… maybe 5 points?
