Glenn: I’m not sure a flap is the answer for the wing, but I do know that NASCAR is going to bring the COT into the wind tunnel and research the wing’s effects when the car is backwards.

In reference to the 39′s crash at Talladega: Why wouldn’t a “roof flap” on the rear wing not work to dissipate the the lifting pressure on the ( now backwards) “downforced disigned wing”?

Hi to all,
I think this is so exciting for Kyle Busch I’ll bet his mom and dad are proud of him. Having his own team will give him the confidence that he needs. I do see him maturing. He is such a good driver no one can take that away from him. I think after he wins a tidle in the sprint cup he should get out of sprint cup. I don’t care for some of the attitude of some of the people there.
They never for get any thing. So I wish Kyle the very best.

Today’s Charlotte Biz Journal says Busch’s (“Kyle Busch Motorsports”) new 85,000 sq. ft. shop won’t be completed until (at earliest) the end of December. It’s very green with geothermal heating and cooling and bodyheat activated interior lights.

I haven’t seen his current shop — if he can’t get into his new space in time for the 2010 season, is it big enough to get a truck team or 2 going?

Earlier this season, I wrongly predicted that the Truck Series was in critical condition and might not last beyond the 2009 season.

Thank goodness I was wrong!

And thanks to SPEED and Camping World for helping to keep this series viable.

I’d like to add that I’d like to see Brian Ickler end up somewhere next year too. Maybe at Kyle Busch Racing also?
