Thank you. You have not only one of the very best NASCAR sites, but one of the consistently best. I always look forward to your Wednesday column. I thought RCR still painted all its cars for its primary sponsors and just used wraps for special deals.

Bob: Every car is still painted, even if it’s going to be wrapped. They will usually be painted a base color, and then graphics will be applied over the top. Very rarely is a car completely wrapped from nose to tail.

The question about decaling cars got me thinking about the paint. Are any teams still painting their cars or is it strictly wraps these days?

JPM has already shown what a great talent he is in racing, what with his limited time in Cup and his points standing with , in my opinion, a 2nd tier team. He won’t win it this year, but has certainly been a huge factor, which is more than I can say for all those veterans not in the Chase.

RE: Roger’s question on late race cautions. Why not just shorten them up? If someone wants to pit, fine, but don’t run 5-6-7 laps under caution to “give everyone a chance to pit”. The caution is one, maybe two laps – all that is needed to clean up for most “debris” cautions. Pit if you want and take your chances! Let’s just get back to racing!
