It’s an off week for the Cup cars but never fear, the Nationwide cars are filling the void with what could be an interesting rain dampened race at Montreal. The series led the news this week with word that they are going to run the Nationwide COT in four races next season. The car, which has been in development for a couple of seasons, was originally planned to be rolled out in 2009, but was pushed back a year to save teams money. Brad Keselowski also found his way into the headlines this week after he told Sporting News that he would not be returning to JR Motorsports in 2010. This is the NASCAR week that was August 23 to 29, 2009.
