Kyle Busch scored his first win of the season at Las Vegas last weekend. It was the Vegas native’s first win at the track. In other news NASCAR said this week they would begin scrutinizing teams who drop out during a race. The change in tone comes as more teams are entering races as ‘start and parks.’ And finally Truck Series owner Billy Ballew made headlines this week after being charged with DUI following an arrest in Atlanta. This is the NASCAR week that was March 1 to 7, 2009.
