The NASCAR Week That Was: Feb. 1-7

NASCAR made its way to Daytona this week as they kick off the 2009 season. Despite that there was no shortage of story lines as “point swapping” became everyone’s favorite catch phrase. Penske has a new name (Penske Championship Racing) after bringing on Bill Davis to get the points from his #22. RCR picks up points from DEI for the #33 of Clint Bowyer and the #8 and #42 at EGR swap points to give Juan Montoya a better points position. Look for the Bud Shootout tonight on Fox with Paul Menard on the pole. This is the NASCAR week that was, February 1-7, 2009.
