UPDATE: A Change on the #2 Truck?

We first reported over the weekend that Jack Sprague may be on the hot seat at Kevin Harvick Inc., and that the new driver of the #2 Chevy Silverado for next season could be Ricky Carmichael.  It was reported late last night that Carmichael will enter the ARCA RE/MAX Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on October 3rd, and he will be driving a car prepared by none other then Kevin Harvick Inc.

This looks to be the first step in getting Carmichael ready for next season, as NASCAR will want the ex-motorcross racer to have some superspeedway experience before he is allowed to run on a big track in NASCAR competition.  Daytona CTS race anyone?
