I have many a times shot the evil eye at someone in a store wearing #48 or #24. I've gone to the check out and there be a man ahead of me wearing his Jimmie Johnson gear [He's just as proud as i am, I'll give him that] and I'll say something little kids should never hear under my breath and change lanes! lol I know it's sad, I'd rather wait in a line of 10 then wait behind a Johnson fan! My husband stopped to talk to his boss in a parking lot once and his truck had Kyle Busch crap all over it, and rolled I my eyes at him and walked away refusing to even stand there and be seen close to that truck! ANd then there is always the other Stewart fan I'll see in the store and you always smile and say Hi to them, friendly and nice as pie! :) lol WELL, I haven’t waitied in line for an autograph either, BUT i DO show my loyality!!

What do they do with these things? Have you ever been impressed when going to someone's home & they show you Dale Earnhardt's autograph? You probably just say "nice" & go on to something else, right? An interesting note-In the summer I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Yesterday while out to breakfast I began looking for people wearing NASCAR logos on their clothing. In the small restaurant where we were eating, there were 5 people wearing driver clothing-including #24 and #3. Out in the parking lot, thee were several cars with NASCAR related stickers or license plates. Mind you-we are 962 miles from Charlotte. I saw no other professional sport represented in the restaurant. I believe the NASCAR fan base must be the most loyal fans and willing to show their loyalty.
