The NASCAR Week That Was: August 24-30

Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards and Reed Sorenson led the headlines this week after making news at Bristol. Sorenson was confirmed to Gillett-Evernham Motorsports after three seasons with Chip Ganassi Racing, leaving Patrick Carpentier out of a ride and potentially out of luck. Busch’s and Edwards’ battle at the end of the Sharpie 500 opened up talks of a rivalry between the two and raised questions about the bump and run.
