Another peg has fallen and another team is in place. Silly Season is finally being wrapped up after intense months-long speculation. Ryan Newman announced this week that he would be joining the newly formed Stewart-Haas Motorsports, driving the #4 Chevrolet. Casey Mears is rumored to Richard Childress Racing in the #07, we will see if that pans out. The sponsor who cannot find a thing to sponsor, UPS, is still wide open, as several new possibilities have surfaced. In other news from across the sport, Michael McDowell was pulled out of his #00 ride in lieu of Mike Skinner. Skinner will make his first start in the car on Sunday from the 22nd position. And finally could Bill Davis Racing be sold? This is the NASCAR week that was August 10th to 16th 2008.
