I certainly hope michael waltrip does,nt read half the crap thats written in these posts, I have no idea how any of you call yourselves Nascar fan's. Its people like him that are keeping the sport alive taken the next step from driving and taking a chance on fulfilling a dream and the dreams of the other drivers he employs. Its a huge commitment of time, hard work and all he gets from this site is a bunch of people still sitting around their kitchen tables or on their sofas complaining about something, they have no idea what it takes to accomplish. I know what its like to start something from the ground up and its alot of take two steps forward and take twenty steps back. I know in the long run you will all have to eat your words of negativity. While I sit back and smile knowing I had faith in him and his team when all you so-called Nascar fans could find time to do is bash and name call. You should all be ashamed of yourself for pulling his personal problems on the table it's none of our business.

Michael Waltrip reminds me of a third rate cruise ship comic. He appears to have the same business prowess as well. He should drive the microphone and leave the NASCAR racing to the professionals. Thanks for the commercials..... However, once the cheating started I became an unfan.

Some of you need to re-read the excellent rebuttal written yesterday to that PR-shill which came out from Motormouth Motorsports and think a little bit.

Rob Kauffman may just not be worth what he was worth last fall, before his hedge fund outfit went public. Fortress Investment Group (FIG) is his company. The stock started at around 30.00 and today was bid at around 13.15 this morning. Could we use the work........"tanking"? Go look on YouTube and see what Cramer says about this shady outfit, in which Rob Kauffman part owns and runs!

He is invested in MWR, his money was far from a gift. Read the article, folk. A NASCAR team MAKES $$$ (profit) for its officers, drivers, investors, owners or it FOLDS! Remember Ginn, last season?

UPS or NAPA leaves and it is all over. Kauffman and Ken Butler can not afford to keep this outfit running without major sponsors. It is not like Yates, with a small-time operation over at Boris Said's joint with probably 40 guys working, getting "rollers, getting paid and having Jack Roush's brain-trust standing by, next door!

Go visit Racertainment and Motormouth Motorsports--this joint is huge and the overhead must be astronomical to keep this joint & team going, with a positive cash-flow, even with the once, deep pockets Kauffman, Harris and Wells, forking over the dough, like drunken sailors!

Well I guess eveyone forgets the time the Hendricks, Childress' et al were just startin out & they too ran like crap & more than likely the gloom & doomers were bringing out the shovels to bury them too. MRW is just starting to learn how to walk after crawling for the last 18 months.

This is on JAYSKI.COM

UPDATE: from a Michael Waltrip Racing PR - There is a rumor that reports MWR has fallen on tough times and may go away. Is that true? Waltrip says, "I fancy myself as being a friend to one of the Web sites that is reporting that. But I have to say that the rumor is probably one of the most ridiculous things I have read on the internet. We are probably on as good of footing financially as anyone in the garage area. We are focused on the future. When you are a new team, a lot of times there is turnover. There is reorganization. That is what is going on at MWR and will continue to happen until we hit our stride. We are not in any peril as being reported. We are very into what we are doing and what we need to do to be successful."(MWR PR)(6-10-2008)

Mikey headed to divorce court? He could'nt even drive before this; how could he do so now? His self-promotions are catching up to him. Toyota has given them every chance in the world, and David is the only one who shows it. I bet he could be a really good RCR driver!

Outside of the top four or five organizations, financial problems in Cup shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Putting 3 cup teams together in a matter of months was an awesome feat. Even more impressive will be keeping it together and making it competitive.

DW's decision to strike out on his own in the early 90s was a big mistake in his career and probably cost him 10 or even 20 more Cup wins. Did Mikey make an equally big mistake? We will probably know by Labor Day.

I have heard that Buffy sold her share of the business to Rob Kaufman. That gives him majority ownership. Also heard that Mikey has no power in running the company anymore. He could not even get his nephew a part time summer job. Heard this from MWR employee.
