Jayski broke the story earlier today that Jimmy Elledge had been let go as the crew chief for Juan Pablo Montoya and the #42 team at Ganassi.  I’ve heard his replacement atop the pit box will be Brian Pattie.  Pattie had served as a Nationwide Series crew chief at Ganassi on the #41 car up to this point.  Pattie takes over for Elledge just a few weeks after Elledge and Donnie Wingo were swapped between the #41 and the #42 Cup Series teams.  Expect an official announcement from the team soon.
