Welcome to TheNascarInsiders.com

First off, I’d like to officially welcome you to TheNascarInsiders.com.  We appreciate you stopping by and if you like what you see and read, subscribe and tell your friends about us!  Sorry, the shameless plugging is over.

Anyways, a little about myself and what we plan to do here at TheNascarInsiders.com.  I am T.C. and without going into too many details that may get me into trouble later, I am a tire changer for a major NASCAR team.  I have stepped off the pit wall in three major racing series and have experienced a lot.  I also have friends and family in the sport that work for many different teams in many different capacities.

But long before I was a crewmember, I was a NASCAR fan just like 75 million other Americans.  I don’t think there are too many people in this industry that can say they aren’t really race fans.  If you weren’t a fan, you wouldn’t do it.  I have been to more Saturday night shows at my local short tracks then I can remember, have been to almost every track that the big three NASCAR series’ race at, and can even say I’ve been to Indy car races and NHRA national events.  Racing has been in my blood since day one.

Not only have I been a fan and a crewmember, but I’ve also been outside the grandstands at most NASCAR tracks working in the sponsor midway.  I was a part of the crew for a large display that traveled to all the Sprint Cup races.

The reason I’m telling you all of this is because I’ve seen the sport from almost all angles and now me and a fellow racing insider would like to share our experiences.

On a regular basis we are going to offer our experiences, some commentary, and even a little inside info about what really goes on in the pits and in the shop.  We are going to use this blog to give race fans and any other interested readers a window into NASCAR like you may have never seen.  We will cover topics ranging from news and rumors, to driver development, technical explanations, the business of NASCAR, and a lot more.

Along the way we hope that you will feel free to comment on our posts, ask questions, and be involved.  Fan involvement is what makes NASCAR so unique when compared to other sports.  We want to hear from you and would like to use this as a way to inform and educate fans.

My partner will be along shortly with his first post and we hope you enjoy the site.  So look around and get ready: TheNascarInsiders.com is open for business…
